What Files Are Needed for a Custom EVA Case Sample?
Developing a custom EVA case sample starts with clear and accurate product information.
Incomplete dimensions, missing accessories or unusable artwork may lead to drawing corrections and additional sample revisions. Preparing the right files at the beginning can make the development process more efficient.
1. Product Information
Please provide:
- Product length, width and height
- Product weight
- Clear photos from different angles
- 2D or 3D drawings, if available
- Details of fragile or scratch-sensitive areas
For irregularly shaped products, a physical sample may be needed to confirm the fit accurately.
2. Accessories and Internal Layout
List all items that need to be stored inside the EVA carrying case, such as:
- Cables
- Power adapters
- Batteries
- Sensors
- Manuals
- Small tools
Please include photos and dimensions for each accessory.
You can also provide a simple sketch showing your preferred product and accessory arrangement. This helps evaluate the case size, foam insert structure and ease of use.
3. Dieline and Cutting Files
Editable vector files are preferred for preparing cutting dielines.
The file formats we can currently work with include:
- DXF
- PLT
- CDR
- AI
- DWG
- EPS
- SVG
The file should preferably be supplied at a 1:1 scale and clearly show:
- Measurement units
- Cutting outlines
- Hole positions
- Rounded corners
- Clearance areas
- Logo positions
Outlines should be closed, accurate and free from overlapping paths.
JPG, PNG and screenshots can be used as visual references, but they are normally not suitable for accurate dieline preparation.
4. Logo and Color Requirements
For custom branding, please provide editable logo artwork whenever possible.
Also confirm:
- Logo size and position
- Logo color
- Preferred logo process
- Case and zipper colors
- Foam and lining colors
- Pantone references, if required
5. Quantity and Timeline
Estimated order quantity and target delivery timing are also important.
These details can affect material selection, foam processing, logo methods and production planning.
