What Information Is Needed for a Custom EVA Case Quote

What Information Is Needed for a Custom EVA Case Quote?

A custom EVA case can usually be evaluated much faster when the product information is clear from the beginning.
A concept image can help explain the idea, but it is usually not enough to confirm case size, foam layout, tooling requirements or production cost.
If your product is already developed and you are preparing for sampling or production, the following information will help us review the project more efficiently.

1. Product Dimensions

Please provide the confirmed dimensions of the product that will go inside the case.
For irregular products, drawings, CAD files or multiple dimensions are especially useful.
The dimensions help determine whether an existing EVA case size may work or whether a new case size needs to be developed.

2. Product Photos or Drawings

Photos help us understand the actual product shape, fragile areas, buttons, connectors and other details that may affect the interior layout.
Available files may include:
  • Product photos
  • 2D drawings
  • CAD / 3D files
  • Existing packaging drawings
A physical product sample can also be reviewed when necessary.

3. Complete Accessory List

Do not only provide the main device.
Please include all items that need to be packed inside the case, such as:
  • Chargers
  • Cables
  • Probes
  • Adapters
  • Batteries
  • Manuals
  • Spare parts
  • Small tools
This allows the interior layout to be evaluated as a complete kit.

4. Estimated Order Quantity

Estimated quantity is important because it affects the appropriate case structure, tooling approach and overall project feasibility.
Our standard MOQ is typically around 500 pieces, depending on case size, materials and customization requirements.
For smaller projects, an existing case size or a simpler interior solution may sometimes be more practical than developing a completely new structure.

5. Foam and Interior Requirements

If you already know how you want the product arranged, share a simple layout or reference image.
If not, provide the product and accessory information and the interior can be reviewed according to the actual equipment.
Typical options may include:
  • Custom-cut foam
  • Layered foam
  • Mesh pockets
  • Elastic retention
  • Dividers
  • Accessory compartments

6. Branding and Packaging Requirements

If the project requires branding, please provide the logo file and preferred application method if known.
Branding may include printing, embossing, labels or patches depending on the case material and project requirements.
Also let us know if you require custom packaging, labels or carton markings.

When Is a Project Ready for Quotation?

A project is usually much easier to evaluate when the following are already confirmed:
  • Product dimensions
  • Product or drawing files
  • Complete accessory list
  • Estimated quantity
  • Basic customization requirements
  • Intended production plan
If your product is still at an early concept stage and the dimensions or configuration may change significantly, it may be better to finalize the product first before developing the case.
